Unit 1: CCTV Control Room Principles

This Unit is classroom based and provides learners with sufficient knowledge to undertake employment as a CCTV Operator.

  • Codes of Practice, Operational Procedures and Guidelines
  • CCTV Equipment and it’s Operation
  • Control Room Communications and Access Control
  • Legislation for CCTV Operations
  • Dealing with CCTV Incidents
  • CCTV Surveillance Techniques
  • Fire and Emergency Procedures
  • Health and Safety at Work

    • Unit 2: Practical Assessment

    The practical use by operators of the equipment found in CCTV Public Space Surveillance control room is an important factor that will decide the overall success of the CCTV system.  This unit aims to introduce learners to the “live” CCTV environment and will build on the knowledge gained in Unit 1.

    Cost for this training program is £350.00 per student ( No Accomodation or Meals)
