This Heavy Duty Bullrt/Stab Proof Vest utilizes lightweight metal discs interwoven in numerous layers within the Kevlar® to achieve a high level of stab protection and to offer spike resistance. This method is extremely expensive and ensures a high level of protection without compromising the integrity of the vest, whilst keeping the vest extremely lightweight. The second purpose of the metal discs is to provide more BLUNT TRAUMA support. Blunt trauma is any damage caused by the impact of an object. The metal discs help by making the vest a fraction thicker and more importantly by catching the energy of the object and helping disperse it over the whole vest.
